The Goff Law Group legal team is excited to welcome our newest lawyer, Attorney Elisabeth Swanson! Liz will be joining our skilled group of lawyers and handling personal injury claims throughout Connecticut.
Liz was born and raised in the state of Connecticut, and earned her legal degree from the University of Connecticut School of Law. She received her law degree with honors and was given multiple CALI Awards for Excellence during her time studying law. Before going to law school, she graduated from the University of Connecticut with a Bachelor’s degree in English. She is recognized as a top personal injury attorney in the state, and has been awarded as such by both Super Lawyers and Connecticut Magazine for the past two years. Outside of her work with Goff Law Group, she is involved with various organizations within the legal community and has served as a leader in many of those associations.
As well as being a top lawyer, Liz is an accomplished writer. She was an editor for the Connecticut Law Review when she was in law school, and writes about legal issues now as an attorney. She frequently presents lectures on various legal topics. Liz was employed with the Connecticut General Assembly for many years and worked as a press secretary before she became an attorney.
Liz is married to her husband, Dave, and together they have four children. In her free time, she enjoys running, sports, and outdoor activities.
