Attorney Maxine Faisant attended Washington State University and Western Washington University for her undergraduate education where she majored in Humanities and Social Sciences. She subsequently relocated to Connecticut to attend law school at the University of Connecticut School of Law. During her studies at UConn Law, Attorney Faisant received the CALI Excellence for the Future Award for her achievement in the study of Food Law and Policy, as well as the National Association of Women Lawyers 2021 Outstanding Law Student Award. While in law school, Attorney Faisant worked for several plaintiff’s law firms focused in person injury and employment discrimination, as well as foreclosure litigation and civil rights.
Following graduation, Attorney Faisant worked for a Hartford law firm focusing in person injury, employment discrimination and workers' compensation. Attorney Faisant is currently admitted to practice in the State of Connecticut, and focuses her practice primarily in workers’ compensation.
