Brian Tetreault
Attorney
BIO
Brian Tetreault takes great pride in assisting those who have been injured due to the negligent or intentional conduct of another through the often difficult ordeal of litigating a claim to resolution. Brian understands that the process can be confusing and stressful, and remains always available to his clients to discuss their questions and concerns as he works to recover the maximum amount on their behalf. He strives to make the process as transparent and painless as possible, recognizing that his clients are often already struggling to deal with the impact of serious personal injuries on top of the stresses of dealing with the corporations or insurance companies responsible.
After graduating from UConn Law School, Brian started his practice working for a large insurance company, defending its insureds against claims of personal injury by others. He continued to work on the defense side at a well-respected regional law firm thereafter, and developed a keen understanding of how companies and insurers review and evaluate claims, and what factors motivate them to settle pending claims. While Brian believes in the legal system and right of all individuals to defend themselves, he became weary of seeking to undermine valid claims of injury and made the decision to transition his practice to assist individuals in pursuing claims against those responsible. He now uses this inside knowledge on behalf of his injured clients to leverage favorable settlements or, as may be necessary, zealously advocating on their behalf at trial. Brian has tried many cases to verdict and will go to the mat for his clients if the defendant is unwilling to step up and fairly compensate them for their injuries and losses.
Brian presently resides in Cromwell and enjoys golfing in warm weather, skiing in cold weather and playing cards and video games throughout the year.
